Datasets and visibility

A dataset is a collection of research data offered by the service. The public catalog explains its purpose; list_datasets() discovers content visible to the current account. The public catalog is not an entitlement list.

Queries and exports

Queries submit SQL through POST /query and return parsed JSON. The server restricts accepted SQL. The client does not implement a SQL parser or execution engine.

Exports submit a dataset, instruments, dates and format through POST /exports. The SDK defaults to parquet; the public product direction includes Parquet and CSV. Job completion and download URL retrieval are not defined in the public client yet.

Data semantics

The public example filters on 600519.SH and selects trade_date and close. This is not a full contract for symbology, calendars, adjustment conventions or field types.

Demonstrations and real data

The website’s DEMO series is entirely synthetic. Chart, table, code and CSV download use the same eight records. They are neither an API response schema nor real quotes.
